All Hallows Eve Ignites the Vampire Legend in The Modern World as Peter Cat And The Vampire Academy release their debut single and Production Video, “Vampires.”
Peter Cat And The Vampire Academy is a new, solo project showcasing the deep, vibrant and sometimes macabre songwriting of vocalist/songwriter, Peter Cat. Being the principal songwriter his other bands, Playhouse and Liquid Sky, Pete is consistently writing and in the last 2 years has written over 600 songs/ideas. The manifestation of the Vampire Academy solo project is designed to have a journey, but no destination; the darker side with a fun, twist of the theatrical.
The song “Vampires” manifested itself as a fascination with vampires and the actual mythology of them. Sucking someone's life force out of them, feeding off of their energy and giving them eternal life was the inspiration behind the song. Combined with a few stories about vampires roaming in New Orleans, the journey thru the occult plays out within the mind and your darkest desires.
